If you are selling your house, hire Shannon Drury. She went above and beyond every step of the way. In her original presentation and market survey, Shannon explained what she would do to get me top dollar for the house. She was true to her word. This was an estate sale and many things needed to be done before the house could go on the market. She knew who to call to remove furniture, had others on call to make minor repairs, paint, etc. She personally staged the house with existing items and brought in some of her own. She held two open houses over a weekend and by Monday morning I had 10 written offers, all over asking. She helped me negotiate with potential buyers and even found a lawyer to handle the closing. As with any real estate transaction, there were snags along the way, but Shannon knew exactly what to do and was in continuous contact throughout the process. Sue assisted us on the purchase of two properties in Wilton, CT. Our first purchase was our family home, which we had all about given up on finding until Sue suggested we look at this one house in Wilton that she thought would be perfect for us and our young boys. We were only looking in Westport, but were really disappointed in the selection/pricing it had to offer. Sue said, "let me take you to this one house in Wilton that I think would be a perfect fit," and the rest was history. We have been in this home for six years now and love it more than when we first moved in. Sue was 100% in sync with what we were looking for in a forever family home where we could raise our (now 3) boys. We are beyond happy we ended up in Wilton as we are much more suited for this town over Westport. If it were not for Sue, we likely would not have ended up in such a great place for us. The next house Sue helped us purchase was again because of her personalized knowledge of what our needs were and striking while a great opportunity presented itself. Sue had known for some time that we were trying to move my elderly parents closer to Wilton (they were in Beacon Falls) because my father's health was failing and my mother needed help taking are of him. A small, flat property came on the market in Wilton and Sue immediately alerted US about it and said we needed to act fast as it would definitely be going over the weekend. We got my parents here immediately and went to see it the next day. She was right, it was a perfect space for them (handicap accessible) and was 3.1 miles from our house. There were cars lined up on both sides of the road at the open house so we knew it would be a tough attempt, maybe a long shot. We immediately discussed an offer and Sue submitted everything. We found out we had missed out to a contractor, but a few days later, Sue called us saying that the bid fell through and that us and another group were being given the chance to give a "best and final". We ended up coming out on top after much discussion and the rest is history. Sue knew exactly what we needed for our family and again delivered. Her efforts were top notch and service can not be topped if you are looking for someone who knows the market, knows the inventory and knows her clients.
